“You just have to live and life will give you pictures.” – Henri Cartier-Bresson

I have always been a fan of Henri Cartier Bresson, a French humanist photographer, commonly considered the Father of modern Street and Candid photography.

For me, what I seem to relate to more than the pictures he took, is the words he used to describe his craft.

I read, I relate, I resonate.

When you live life to its sheer fullness, the fulness of life, in return, will gift you with more pictures than you can possibly ever capture and process.

Connection and chemistry in life, equals connection and chemistry in photography

Life and photography, for poets like us, are seamlessly and organically connected.

When we feel and see in life, we feel and see in photography

When we express joy in life, we express joy in photography

When we experience the pains and pangs of life, we experience the very same in photography.

“It is through living that we discover ourselves, at the same time as we discover the world around us.”

-Henri Cartier-Bresson

It is through and not around living that we discover the beautiful, the poetic, and the lyrical.

If you are a photographer and not getting the sort of imagery you want, look within.

Connect to the grandeur and splendor of life. Magic awaits. Click.

“If there is one point, it’s humanity, its life, the richness of life. The thing is simply to be sensitive.”

-Henri Cartier-Bresson
